2019 Message from the President

Hello Fellow Association Members,

Welcome!  It has been an honor to accept the nomination of President of The Mid-Atlantic Floor Covering Association.  Our association is strong and well positioned to serve our members well in 2019.

A great big THANK YOU is due to our immediate past-President, Adam Joss, our Executive Director Michelle Goshorn, the entire Board, our sponsors and our vendor partners.  A great deal of work happens behind the scenes, both by our Board and members and we want to thank you all.

Last year was another year of growth and prosperity for our industry and we are optimistic 2019 will bring more of the same, despite obstacles like the current government shutdown.  We are very positive about the increased strength of our association and what we can do to help our members through the challenges of our industry.  We continue to have a shortage of skilled labor, an aging workforce and regulatory and governmental hurdles.  These issues require effort from all of us, since they are much bigger than any one company or individual.

It is very important for us to reach new members and grow our association. Please reach out to a dealer you know who is not a member and tell them about the training we provide, the business /technical support but most importantly, the very great value of networking with industry friends.  That has been very important to me.

Please consider spending your time, effort or money supporting our valuable association.  If you have not already done so, please renew your annual membership for 2019 today.
