2023 Annual Dinner

The Association wants to thank everyone for their generous support.

On June 29th, we had our Annual Dinner & Second Annual Spotlight Awards. We learned about opportunities, heard about the challenges, and celebrated the successes in our local floor-covering industry.

Minah Woo, Vice President of Workforce, Innovation, and Strategic Partnerships at Howard Community College, spoke about the ever-changing workforce and opportunities for an installer training program. Maryland Delegate, owner of Value Carpet One, and Association Board Member, Chris Adams spoke about future challenges facing our industry in Annapolis. Association President, Steve Weidner, discussed the steps the Association is taking to address these challenges including retaining the services of Harris Malone & Jones to serve as our lobbyist in the following Maryland Legislative Session. We celebrated our project award winners and honored an Industry Hero.
